Who Am I?
Who I am? One of the many questions that people ask themselves and yet have a hard time thinking who they really are. I’ll make it easy for everyone reading this by reading a short poem.
I am a mother,
I am daughter,
I am an aunt
and I am sister.
I’m a singer,
I’m a drawer,
I’m a designer,
I’m a writer,
and I’m a baker.
I’m caring,
Sweet,
Chill,
Funny,
Outgoing,
Naughty,
Sad,
Angry,
Lazy,
And athletic.
I’m quiet, but patient.
I speak but, I’m poetic.
I give advice to others, but I do not follow them myself.
I’m hispanic, and proud.
I’m 18, but no license yet.
I’m single, but my baby is my love.
I dream to get married, but not anytime soon.
I plan for a great career, which seems so far.
I’m an owl, staying awake at night thinking
Yet, I’m a moon, wishing I could sleep during the morning.
I am a blossom,
I am the rain,
I am an apple,
and I am in pain.
Anyone, anywhere
could be the same,
But, there will only be,
one and only,
Veronica Mendivil
Whom will not change.
