“We can’t always explain what the eye sees.”
Paranormal Activity; to some people it’s a myth to others it’s reality.
Although scientists have proven many things beyond the human mind, cannot always prove things by touch or making experiments, sometime people need to believe and experience that there are other activities that may happen to many people in good or bad ways.
The history behind paranormal activity is widely spread all over the globe. Paranormal has started since the beginning of time. In the 19th century anthropologist, James Frazer, explained his work, The Golden Bough, souls seen as animal, plants and human beings with an animated body. His theory was that if an animal moves and lives like an animal its because it’s soul is a little animal inside. Most anthropologists believe that a ghost is a person within a person. A presence of a soul is calm from sleep or death. When sleeping the soul is only a temporary absence while death is a permanent absence. The human soul is sometimes symbolic in ancient cultures. The soul is an exact reproduction of the body including the same clothes before death. A book called Egyptian Book of the Dead, shows images of deceased people in their afterlife looking the same before they died. Besides looking the same, spirits can also look like air, mist or some type of subtle material. When feeling the temperature of an area cold means that the presence of a ghost, spirits, etc, maybe there. Ancient cultures believe that a person’s breath when they exhale in cold climates, known as dragon breath, is the soul; meaning of “breath” in Latin and Greek. Stories from the middle ages and Roman era relied on the Macabre, museums of soul. Ghost stories have been told since ancient times and found in many cultures. Mo Tzu, chinese philosopher, says, “The way to find out whether anything exists or not is to depend on the testimony of the ears and eyes of the multitude.” In other words if you see and hear it, it exits. In 827-783 BC, King Hsuan executed his minister, Tu Po. People believed he would come back for revenge; three years later Tu Po as a ghost shot King Hsuan. Although this was a story the actual first sighting took place in Athens, Greece in C. 63- 113 A.D.
During 74 BC-7 A.D., philosopher Athenodoros Cananites rented a room to investigate the rumors that it was haunted, surely enough an aged spectre, bound at hands and feet with chains rattling appeared. The spirit told him to follow him and disappeared. Athenodoros marked where he disappeared, three years later the magistrates dug there and found the spirits shackled bones. After a proper burial the spirit was in peace.
When a soul doesn’t properly get buried it remains on earth until someone sets the spirit in peace. Many other religious traditions subscribe to the concept of ghosts such as The Hindu Garuda Puran detailing information about ghosts. The Hebrew Torah and the Bible contain some references to ghosts and spiritism within forbidden occults. British believe that the dead would haunt their lovers if they found a new love if a formal release wasn’t performed.
One of the greatest scientists,Thomas Edison; 1847-1931, believed in life after death and invented 1,093 items such as the light bulb. Towards the end of his career he made an invention that let the living see and communicate with the dead. Thomas believed the “soul” was made of “life units.” His theory of “life units,” were particles that can rearrange into any form, with full memory, and personality stored and indestructible. As he was trying to complete this creation he soon died and he didn’t complete the machine. People thought Edison was mad but, others believe that he was onto something big and believed that if he finished the invention people would be living in a different world. The belief of ghost became large and persistent.
The top ten haunted areas include, The Amityville Haunting a house was used for Native Americans that were insane, withering or sick and were buried in the property.
In November 13, 1974 the owner, Ronald DeFeao shot his siblings and his father.
He was only planning to kill his father but, the evil spirits in his home urged him to eliminate everyone. Later on the home was bought for $80,000 by Kathy and George Lutz. Even though they heard the stories, they were mesmerized by how much they would get from the property.
On moving and throughout the next twenty-eight days there were many activities from their pet sensing spirits and trying to escape, to physically feeling ill to moving furniture and screams through the house as the family recited a prayer. It scared the family a lot which gave strength to entities and many figures began showing their physical appearance to the family, enough that their daughter made a friend named “Jodie.” They fled the house and got investigators to go see the place. Rumors said the psychic fainted from too much evil presence and horror.
So how can you explain paranormal activities? Well, simple, you can’t. Some things don’t always answers. Questions like, “Why are there spirits in any home? Why don’t they go to the “light” or how come there are mean spirits and what do they want?” are what often would be asked. Different sources have different responses. paranormal activities provide different answers to why some researchers believe the paranormal remain on earth for a reason. Maybe they’re here for a purpose and maybe there here as guardians. Of course there are bad spirits and they’re only there to make lives miserable to the fullest. People have seen “Paranormal Activity” and other scary demonic movies but, those stories are realistic for those who have experienced the fight of their faith and property.
The paranormal world would take years to research but, listed below are basic information of four different types of hauntings.
- Spirit- An animal, person or soul that has remained in this world after the death of the body.
- Ghost- Sound or image that is equal to video recording or an audio. It’s a continuing energy of an animal or person. It’s a recording or flashback that plays over and over and can diminish but, recharge itself. I have heard That nighttime is when they are mostly active; rather in the day they are regenerating.
- Poltergeist- Is focused in one individual such as a pubescent child, preadult, it can also manage to center an adult that would have lots of stress.
- Entities- Associated with beings that were never human at any point. They can be good (angels) or bad (demons). They can be easily be mistaken for a spirit. Entities are uncommon.
- Vortex hauntings- A doorway which entities may pass through. entities can come with human or non-human but, a vortex/ portal is simply a “feature,” not a huanting.
- Analog Video- This camera uses electron beams and prone to electrical and magnetic disturbances. When a spirits passes by the camera the energy of the spirit will easily be effected on the camera.
- Digital Video- Very advance camera they use the same CCD, which they put in every camera, which helps capture any little things. It’s more sharper and clearer to see the video. Can record in total darkness and increased the digital popularity and is a valuable product for paranormal investigations.
- Thermal Cameras- These cameras see heat signatures from a far distance. This camera requires to stand alone and have its own video recorder. Keeping the heat the same is key to capturing and to avoid and heat from emitting and any loud noises. If the heat is the same than the performance of the camera will be outstanding.
- Infrared- A Can spot light rays outside the human in a visible spectrum. It’s the latest camera to use for ghost hunting. Sony invented first nightshot camcorder in the 90’s. Since infrared does not reflect when a spirit comes upon the camera electrical pulses from the camera can detect magnetic disturbances from the spirit in other words the spirit can reflect back to the infrared camcorder.
- Film Camera- It picks up the spirit’s energy. Film camera is a chemical and a difficult process when dealing with paranormal. The camera is like a human eye but it can record what’s in front of it without discrimination.
- Digital Camera- The lenses and infrared filter in the camera can take shots in far distant and the can pick up the the reflection of a spirit and the energy of a spirit can be spotted through the camera.
- Audio recording- EVP or known as Electronic Voice Phenomenon is very popular among many ghost hunters. Since this invention this production has made capturing voices of spirits easy and what’s even better it helps you decipher voices and phrases. Because audio devices record vibration it’s possible that spirit’s energy sends the voice to vibration in the camera and the camera will transfer those into the voice and sentence that the spirit is actually saying.
- Electromagnetic Frequency (EMF) Detectors- It’s a little device that can detect many different energies including the energy of a spirit. Every living animal or thing has some type of electro magnetic frequency. Even though you can’t see the spirit you energy scale on the device is going crazy. Some EMF have annoying sounds to alert or may use multi-colored. This device must be used with care and it can detect paranormal activities but, it may also detect natural phenomenons.
- Motion Detectors- The energy from the spirit can set off an alarm through the motion camera which has infrared detector.
Paranormal activity is an unsolved mystery. If interested in investigating or wanting to experience One thing that is rather important...when you confront the paranormal don’t show it fear and think positive...if it is evil show that you are not afraid of it h or it will harm you. God is by your side.
We are not alone, because if we were the only creatures that exist in the universe, it’s an awful lot of space.
